Doug Boyes and his staff did an incredible job with our wedding reception. It's a nice location in Old Town. Food is very very good and service is impeccable. Doug is easy to work with and he truly wants the wedding couple to have a memorable experience.  

Doug and Julie did and excellent job of catering our son's none rehearsal knot tyeing dinner. Doug helped me plan the menu at long distance, and was very helpful with suggestions. The food was delicious, and I was indeed a guest at my own event. Excellent job Doug and Julie.

Chef Doug Boyes and his business partner Julie Beehler create, prepare and deliver some of Oregon finest food ever! They are hands down the best Catering Company I have ever come across. I highly reccomend them!     Superb food in difficult conditions Doug and Julie put on a feast in the rain in the Columbia River Gorge in September 2009 at our wedding. The food was simple, tasty and reflected the best that the NW has to offer. They were careful to listen to our ideas for dishes, and also took care to make sure that diets and allergies were accommodated - no random dairy products or nuts sprinkled. They got on and cooked without needing much from us on the day, poured the champagne and served the cake. They packed a meal for the Bride & Groom as well, and came in at a very reasonable price! Doug and company at Wild Currant are the best!!!

We found out about them from a wedding we attended 3-4 months earlier and we were very very impressed with the food and the service at that weeding.... knowing we had a wedding in Sept we asked for their name/card. We recommended them to the Bride/Groom, which met w/ Doug and agreed...

they would be outstanding!!!!

The Wild Currant catered the wedding at our home in Sept 2007.... they are much like you would think a local cater is... very very personable; coming to our home weeks before the wedding , getting to know the bride and groom? and what they would like THEIR reception food to express... The food Wild Currant listened to the couple and prepared exactly what they requested.

The food was OUTSTANDING! a wide variety of... stuffed mushroom appetizers, plank salmon, chicken skewers, rice pilaf....etc, etc,... The Wild Currant also provided wine / beer servers, they set up the champagne glasses and poured - so it was magically ready for the toast!

I have been to 2 weddings/reception where the Wild Currant has been the caterer and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them... they are BEST!!
